Upon receipt of a confirmation email. the rider acknowledges and agrees that any cancellation of the scheduled ride service shall incur a cancellation fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total ride cost, inclusive of any applicable fees or charges for additional services, unless the cancellation is due to a flight cancellation by the airline. In such instances, the rider must provide verifiable proof of the airline's cancellation in order to qualify for a waiver of the cancellation fee.

If the assigned driver has commenced travel to the designated pickup location prior to receipt of a cancellation notice, the rider shall be responsible for the payment of one hundred percent (100%) of the total ride cost and fees where applicable.

If paying with cash, the driver is not a bank and there is no cash register inside the vehicle. It is the rider’s responsibility to make sure they bring the appropriate amount. The driver may not always have exact change.

Effective November 1, 2025, Ames Auto Rentals will no longer offer receipts for cash payments. If you require a receipt, please pay by card.
